MOVIE STILL – 2011 / 4:07 / SD

Movie Still catches the filmmaker about to show a film to his audience but both are unable to move as perhaps the film is stuck or because we all know there is no movement in a film only still pictures. The man and the woman cannot respond to the director’s call for action remaining still but not able to completely hide their movement from the camera. Perhaps they are willfully refusing to respond to action, defying the director. Maybe we have all dropped into the gap between the film frames, the lacuna, unable to climb back out. This is a very still movie so is it still a movie.
